Taryn Holvick-Wells

Taryn Holvick-Wells serves as adjunct faculty and Clinical Practicum Associate II at Pacifica Graduate Institute, where she holds an M.A. in Counseling Psychology. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (L.M.F.T.) in California, she contributes to the training of future clinicians through her academic and clinical roles.

Her research and clinical interests focus on relationship dynamics, life transitions, perinatal mental health (particularly the journey from pregnancy to motherhood), and trauma recovery using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. Her expertise spans both therapeutic practice and clinical supervision within the counseling psychology field.

Holvick-Wells brings practical experience from school-based counseling settings and private practice where she has worked with diverse populations including couples, families, and individuals navigating significant life changes and traumatic experiences.
