Dr. Tariq Syed is a Research Fellow at the Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf since October 2024, affiliated with the Chair of Algebraic Geometry within the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. His research focuses on algebraic geometry and topology, particularly applications of motivic homotopy theory to algebraic geometry and commutative algebra.
