Tara Wager, M.A., is a Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Seton Hall University since 2017. She holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree from Seton Hall University, with a focus on Special Education and Instructional Design. As a full-time faculty member, she teaches Developmental Math, College Algebra, Business Finite, and Mathematics for Elementary Education majors. Wager emphasizes holistic student development, adapting teaching methods to diverse learning needs. She actively contributes to academic service roles, including Course Coordinator and co-advisor of the Mathematics Club. Her awards include the 2022 College of Arts and Sciences Faculty of the Year and the President's Award for Student Service (2023).
Wager's professional memberships include the Mathematical Association of America (MAA), National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM), and the Association of Math Teacher Educators (NJAMTE). Her research interests span mathematics education and course development, reflected in her 2016 publication in Congr. Numer.. She has held leadership roles in academic committees, such as the Petersheim Academic Exposition Steering Committee and the Andrushkiw Competition.
