Tara R. Bauer-Williamson

Tara R. Bauer-Williamson serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Graphic Design Department at Becton College, Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU), with additional teaching experience at Sussex County Community College and William Paterson University.

Her academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from William Paterson University.

With three decades of professional experience blending education and industry practice, her expertise centers on visual communication, digital design tools, and fostering creative development. She emphasizes practical application of Adobe Creative Suite software (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) while encouraging students' artistic expression through hands-on projects that bridge technical skills and conceptual exploration.

Professionally, she co-owns and operates Lazarus & Williamson, a custom woodworking business where she applies graphic design principles to product development and branding.
