Tara Leonard is an Associate Instructor and Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach in the Department of Health Behavior and Nutrition Sciences at the University of Delaware. She holds a Master’s degree in Health Promotion and a Certificate in Health Coaching from the University of Delaware, along with Board Certification through the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaches (NBHWC).
Her research focuses on health behavior change, particularly for older adults and individuals living with prediabetes or cancer. Tara teaches courses including HBNS 633 (Health Coaching), HBNS 664, HBNS 430, HBNS 160, and HBNS 263.
She is affiliated with the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaches and is involved in the Health Coaching Clinic and Nutrition Clinic at the University of Delaware.
