Tara Bishop

Tara Bishop is an Associate Professor at Weill Cornell Medicine's Graduate School of Medical Sciences, affiliated with the Sloan Kettering Institute. Her research focuses on improving U.S. healthcare delivery across the six domains defined by the Institute of Medicine: safety, effectiveness, efficiency, equity, timeliness, and patient-centeredness.

Dr. Bishop employs diverse methodologies including large dataset analysis, surveys, qualitative techniques, and controlled trials of interventions. She is actively engaged in health services research and population health studies, with affiliations spanning clinical epidemiology and health policy.
