Taposh Roy

Taposh Roy serves as Postgraduate Programme Director and Lecturer in Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour at the University of Southampton's Southampton Business School. His academic career spans teaching and research focused on corporate responsibility and sustainability in global contexts, particularly across developing economies.

His research expertise encompasses:

• Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) communication strategies
• Ethical business practices in emerging markets
• NGO-business collaborations
• Cross-sectoral partnerships in developing countries
• Sustainability implementation challenges

Recent scholarly output demonstrates concentrated focus on Bangladesh's garment sector and multinational corporation operations, with publications in leading journals including Accounting, Auditing & Accountability Journal and Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly. His current research examines Western sustainability concept implementation within Bangladesh's garment industry, funded by SBS small grant.

Roy actively supervises PhD candidates and teaches postgraduate modules including International CSR and Ethics, Business Ethics, and Responsible Leadership. His educational background includes a PhD in Management from the University of Hull (2015), complemented by an MSc in Marketing and Communications Management and BA (BBA) in Marketing and Human Resource Management.
