Dr. Tapas Sen is a Reader in Nanomaterials Chemistry at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), leading the Nano-biomaterials Research Group and affiliated with three Research Centres. His work focuses on advancing nanomaterials for biomedical, environmental, and energy applications. He holds a strong track record in publishing high-impact research and mentoring students across PhD, MPhil, MSc, and BSc levels in Chemistry.
His research interests span functional nanomaterials, including magnetic nanoparticles for drug delivery, catalytic nanomaterials for environmental remediation, and magneto-optical composites for theranostics.
