Tanya Smith

Tanya Smith is an Assistant Professor and Field Education Coordinator at the School of Social Work, St. Thomas University (STU), since 2023. With a background in part-time teaching at STU for five years, she transitioned to full-time faculty, overseeing field education development, coordination, and administration. Her work bridges social work theory with practice, emphasizing trauma-informed approaches and wellness in trauma-exposed professions.
