Tanvi Kothari

Tanvi Kothari is a Professor in the School of Global Innovation and Leadership at San José State University's Lucas College of Business. She holds a Ph.D. from Temple University and specializes in international business strategy, emerging markets, and women entrepreneurship. Her research examines innovation trajectories of firms in developing economies and social entrepreneurship.

Publications analyze migrant entrepreneurship, diversity in tech, and post-pandemic economic recovery, with recent work featured in 2024. She received the Salzburg Fellowship (2013-2014) and advises aspiring women entrepreneurs.
