Tanner Huffman

Tanner Huffman is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Integrative STEM Education at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ), School of Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Education from Purdue University (2015) and specializes in Engineering Education and Education Technology.

• Current grants include NJDOE-funded programs for K-12 computer science education expansion (2023-2024: $444,444; 2022-2023: $330,000).
• Professional memberships include the American Society of Engineering Education.

Research Interests: Huffman focuses on systemic reform in pre-college engineering education, including curriculum development, design cognition in students, and assessment tools for engineering literacy.
