Tanja Reimer

Tanja Reimer is a Lecturer at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), affiliated with the School of Architecture, Civil and Environmental Engineering (ENAC) and the Section of Architecture (SAR-ENS). Holding the status of Invited Guest, she serves on the SAR Teaching Committee and maintains her office in Building BP, Room 2131, at Station 16, Lausanne 1015.

Her research and teaching expertise centers on Typological Urbanism, which bridges architectural and urban design through dual analytical lenses: how architectural typologies shape urban form from within and how urban types influence it from without. She instructs design studios across bachelor's and master's levels (BA5, BA6, MA1, MA2) in the DOSCRE program, investigating evolving Swiss urban contexts through ensemble and composite forms while operating at multiple spatial scales.
