Tamisha Guy

Tamisha Guy is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Dance at SUNY Purchase College. She is a distinguished contemporary dancer and educator with a career spanning international performances and teaching engagements. Her training includes Ballet Tech, Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School, and SUNY Purchase College, where she double majored in Dance and Arts Management.

Notable achievements include joining the Martha Graham Dance Company in 2013, earning the Princess Grace Award (2016), and recognition as one of Dance Europe's Best Dancers (2017). She currently performs with A.I.M by Kyle Abraham and has taught masterclasses globally, including in Hawaii, London, Berlin, and Haiti.

Her work emphasizes the intersection of cultural heritage and contemporary movement, reflecting her Trinidadian-Tobagonian roots and diverse artistic influences. Awards and media features highlight her impact on the dance community.
