Tamara L. Halter is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Nursing at Valparaiso University. She holds a BSN from Indiana University/Purdue University Indianapolis, MSN from the University of Southern Indiana, and a DNP from Indiana State University. With 20 years of professional experience, she transitioned to academia in 2012, specializing in Obstetrics nursing, Medical Surgical nursing, and Quality Improvement.
