Tamara Heger

Tamara Heger is a part-time Research Associate at the Department of American Studies, University of Regensburg, since 2018. She is currently pursuing her doctorate with a focus on US soldiers' life narratives related to the liberation of Flossenbuerg Concentration Camp.

Research Interests: Her work intersects Holocaust studies, memory studies, transnational history, and life writing, examining how German-American relations evolved through historical events like WWII and camp liberation.

Academic Service: She manages the Regensburg European American Forum and serves on the editorial board of 'Frictions' blogjournal.
