Tamara Grechanaya

Tamara Grechanaya serves as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Geschwister Scholl Institute of Political Science, Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU), Germany. Her current position is sponsored by the Humboldt Research Fellowship Programme for Postdocs beginning July 2025 under host Prof. Dr. Nicole Bolleyer.

Her research centers on authoritarian resilience mechanisms through interdisciplinary analysis of political narratives, civil society repression strategies, state propaganda systems, and computational text methodologies. This work examines how non-democratic regimes maintain stability through discursive control and social manipulation.
