Tamara Butler

Dr. Tamara Butler is Associate Professor of Critical Literacies at Michigan State University with joint appointments in English Education and African American and African Studies. Her BlackGirlLand project examines Black women's relationships to land through creative works and life narratives. She serves on the National Council of Teachers of English's Anti-Racism Educational Consultant Network and the Executive Committee of English Language Arts Teacher Educators.
