Taleta Bailey

Dr. Taleta Bailey is a Research Fellow in Soil Science at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), affiliated with the Faculty of Science and School of Biology & Environmental Science. Her work focuses on soil organic matter dynamics, nitrogen cycling, and agricultural sustainability in subtropical and tropical systems. She holds a PhD and Bachelor of Agricultural Science (Hons) from the University of Queensland.

Her research interests include understanding carbon-nitrogen interactions in soil, greenhouse gas emissions from cropping systems, and improving fertiliser efficiency through organic amendments and sorbent technologies.
