Dr. Takeshia Pierre is an Assistant Professor of Critical STEM Education at Tufts University, based at Paige Hall. Her research centers race, gender, and culture to enhance Black student experiences in STEM education spaces, emphasizing cultural assets, challenging discriminatory practices, and amplifying student voices across K-16 and professional careers. She actively mentors to support Black learners' success in STEM.
