Tak Shing Chan

Tak Shing Chan is an Associate Professor of Communication and Digital Media Studies in the College of Human Sciences and Humanities at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. He holds a doctorate in mass communication and media arts and maintains an active full-time teaching position.

His research focuses on interdisciplinary media studies spanning:

• Mass communication theory and practice
• Digital media production and analysis
• Creative applications in digital art
• Photographic arts and visual storytelling

He integrates academic research with artistic practice, presenting work at international conferences and exhibitions.
