Tairan Xu

Tairan Xu is a Research Fellow in the Department of Physics at the University of Michigan, affiliated with the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts. Their research interests span multiple areas including Cosmology and Astrophysics, Nuclear and Subatomic Physics, Atomic, Molecular & Optical Physics, and Condensed Matter Physics and Complex Systems. They are based at the Randall Lab and Homer A. Neal Lab located at 450 Church Street, Ann Arbor, MI.

As part of the Physics Department Operations team, Xu contributes to the academic and research infrastructure of the department.
