Tagreed Al-Haddad

Tagreed Al-Haddad is a Lecturer in Arabic at Vassar College, affiliated with the Department of Africana Studies. She has been at Vassar since 2010, teaching courses such as Elementary Arabic and Upper-Intermediate Arabic. Prior to this, she spent twelve years as a Principal in the Latin Patriarchate Schools in Jordan and held educational leadership roles.

Education: BS in Public Administration (University of Jordan, 1990), High Diploma in Education (Al-Balqa Applied University, Jordan), and an MPA from Marist College (2012). She co-authored the Arabic language textbook Alyaseer in 2006.

Research interests focus on Arabic language pedagogy, cultural studies, and educational leadership. Her teaching emphasizes language acquisition methods and curriculum development for Arabic as a second language.
