Tabitha van Krimpen is a PhD researcher and teacher at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and the Protestant Theological University in Utrecht. Her joint doctoral program (50/50 collaboration) focuses on moral leadership, moral courage, and calling, supervised by Prof. Dr. Petruschka Schaafsma and Dr. Omar Solinger. She teaches courses such as Human Resource Management and Strategy, and supervises Bachelor thesis students.
- Education: BSc Business Administration (Radboud University, 2021), BSc Theology (Cum Laude, Radboud University, 2021), MSc Business Administration – Leadership and Change Management (VU Amsterdam, 2021).
- Research Interests: Interdisciplinary studies between theology and business, moral leadership, organizational behavior, and church management. Her book Bottom-up Church: Being Where the Twenty-Somethings Are explores participatory church models for modern audiences.
Her publications analyze ethical leadership and capitalism critiques, while her media contributions engage public theology debates. Awards include the Young Theologian of the Year (2021–22). Ancillary roles include directing ‘Tabie Theologiseert’ and jury membership for the Christian film festival Reflect.
