Tabea Rahm

Tabea Rahm is a doctoral researcher in Maritime Meteorology at GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel since October 2023. She is affiliated with the Research Division Ocean Circulation and Climate Dynamics and the Department of Maritime Meteorology. Her research focuses on climate dynamics, particularly uncertainties in the Zero Emissions Commitment (ZEC) and global dark doldrum patterns' impacts on renewable energy systems.

Education:

Research Interests:

Her work explores climate modeling biases, atmospheric dynamics, and the interplay between weather regimes and climate warming. Recent studies include analyzing synoptic-scale waves' role in stratospheric processes and improving climate model resolutions using OpenIFS frameworks.
