Sławomir Witkowski is a Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, serving as Dean of the Faculty of Graphic Arts since 2016. An alumnus of the same institution (diploma in Painting and Graphic Arts under Professor Cyprian Kościelniak), he co-founded the influential Nowa Ekspresja (New Expression) movement in 1980s Poland.
