- 1996: Ph.D. in environmental and organic analytical chemistry
Dr. Johansen's research focuses on forensic chemistry in alternative biological matrices such as saliva and hair, analytical chemistry of drugs and drugs of abuse, forensic toxicology, chiral analysis of drugs, and traffic medicine. His work bridges analytical chemistry with forensic applications, particularly in drug analysis and toxicology.
His recent publications demonstrate a strong focus on hair analysis for drug detection, postmortem toxicology, and the analysis of novel psychoactive substances.
