Sylvie Rangan

Sylvie Rangan is an Assistant Research Professor in the Department of Physics at Rutgers University. She is affiliated with the Graduate Faculty and works in the fields of experimental surface science and condensed matter physics, focusing on atomic and molecular-scale surface and interface phenomena.

Research Interests: She investigates the electronic structure and morphology of surfaces and interfaces through projects involving on-surface reaction chemistry for 2D organic layers, energy alignment modification at organic-oxide interfaces using dipole-bearing molecules, and the electronic structure and assembly of ionic liquids at interfaces.
