Sylvie C. Cartier

Sylvie C. Cartier is a Full Professor in the Department of Educational Psychology and Andragogy at the University of Montreal's Faculty of Education. Her research focuses on learning difficulties, learning through reading, pedagogical practices, and educational innovation. She leads projects on self-regulated learning, teacher professional development, and inclusive education strategies. Cartier has advised numerous PhD and Master's students and collaborates with schools and educational institutions to improve teaching practices.

Education: BSc in Educational Psychology (University of Sherbrooke, 1986), MEd in Orthopedagogy (University of Sherbrooke, 1992), PhD in Educational Psychology (University of Montreal, 1997).
