Syed A. Athar

Syed A. Athar, MD is an Assistant Professor at the Loma Linda University School of Medicine. He serves as a faculty interventional cardiologist at the Loma Linda VA Medical Center, where he has directed the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories since 2016. Board-certified in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Disease, Endovascular Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiovascular CT, and Internal Medicine, he also acts as an associate program director for the Loma Linda University Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program and contributes to VA's national Major Adverse Events committee.
