Syamsul Bahri is a doctoral student in the Department of Political Science at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. His research focuses on the political determinants and consequences of macroeconomic policy, institutions, and outcomes, alongside inference methodologies on longitudinal data. He holds an M.A. in International and Regional Studies and an M.A. in Statistics from the University of Michigan, complemented by a Ph.D. in Political Science (in progress).
