Sweekriti Sharma

Dr. Sweekriti Sharma is a Research Fellow at the University of Sydney's School of Public Health, affiliated with the Institute for Musculoskeletal Health, a partnership with Sydney Local Health District. Her work focuses on overdiagnosis in low back pain and reducing low-value healthcare interventions. She leads the NHMRC-funded NUDG-ED trial, exploring behavioral nudging to minimize unnecessary imaging and opioids in emergency departments.

Her research spans epidemiology, healthcare policy, and global health, with a particular emphasis on low- and middle-income countries.
