Swarnendu Banerjee

Dr. Swarnendu Banerjee is a postdoctoral researcher at the Dutch Institute for Emergent Phenomena (DIEP) and the Institute for Biodiversity and Ecosystem Dynamics (IBED), University of Amsterdam. He is also a guest researcher at the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development, Utrecht University. Previously, he held a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship (2021–2023) at Utrecht University. His research focuses on theoretical ecology, ecological complexity, and mathematical modeling to address ecosystem responses to global change, stability, and infectious disease dynamics.
