Svitlana Slava

Professor Svitlana Slava holds dual affiliations: Supernumerary Fellow at Jesus College, University of Oxford, and Professor at Uzhhorod National University, Transcarpathia, Ukraine. She teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Economics of Enterprise and Management, and advises PhD students in strategic and structural economic transformations. Her research focuses on regional development, crisis adjustments, sustainable development, and innovation systems, with extensive applied projects across Ukraine and international partnerships with GB, EU, US, and Canada.

Education: PhD in Economics, Planning, and Management from National Transport University (Kyiv), defended at National University of Construction and Architecture (Kyiv). She has received prestigious awards including Fulbright Senior Research Program and Salzburg Leadership Program (USA), along with honors from Transcarpathia Regional Administration and Uzhhorod National University.

Research Interests: Strategic economic transformations, post-crisis adjustments, regional sustainability, enterprise economics, innovation ecosystems, and the knowledge triangle. Over 100 publications include works in Sustainability, Regional Studies, and Environment and Planning A.

International Collaboration: Led projects under EU/US-Canada frameworks, co-authored monographs on Ukrainian regional development and innovation laboratories. Active in volunteer initiatives promoting cultural exchange between UK and Ukrainian towns through educational partnerships.
