Sverre Planke

Sverre Planke is a Professor II at the Section for Study of Sedimentary Basins within the Department of Geosciences at the University of Oslo. His research focuses on sedimentary basin dynamics, breakup magmatism, glacial sedimentation, and volcanic reservoir characterization. He leads projects such as the VISTA Centre for CO2 Storage in Volcanic-Sedimentary Systems (VICCO) and Paleogene Basin Development on the Vøring and Møre Margins (PALMAR).
