Sven Joubert

Sven Joubert is a Full Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Montreal's Faculty of Arts and Sciences. He holds the academic rank of Professor and is affiliated with the CERNEC (Centre de recherche en neuropsychologie et cognition) and the CRIUGM (Centre de recherche de l'Institut universitaire de gériatrie de Montréal). His research focuses on cognitive decline in neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's, semantic disorders, and neuroimaging techniques such as PIB-PET and MRI. He has supervised numerous students, including Maude Joannette and Jessica Julien, and has received grants from institutions like the IRSC and FRQS. Joubert has authored over 50 publications, emphasizing semantic memory and cognitive interventions in aging populations. He is a member of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec and contributes to teaching courses such as PSY-2254 (Maturité et vieillesse) and PSY-3083 (Mémoire humaine).
