Sven Hermann

Sven Hermann is a Senior Lecturer at the European Institute for Molecular Imaging (EIMI) within the University of Münster, leading the Preclinical Imaging Group. His research focuses on developing molecular imaging strategies for inflammation and infection, including PET, SPECT, fluorescence reflectance imaging, and optoacoustic imaging. Key targets include matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) and alarmins (S100A8/S100A9), with applications in cardiovascular diseases, rheumatoid arthritis, and bacterial imaging.
