Suzanne O'Keefe

Suzanne O'Keefe is Professor of Economics and Dean of La Trobe Business School at La Trobe University. Her research examines economic aspects of water policy, local government, and education reform with particular focus on:

• Water pricing and allocation mechanisms in agricultural systems
• Market-based approaches to environmental water management
• Economic dimensions of local governance structures
• Innovations in economics education pedagogy

Professor O'Keefe's work combines economic theory with empirical analysis of policy interventions in Australian and international contexts. She has led curriculum development initiatives and received teaching excellence awards for her pedagogical innovations.
