Suzanne Beyeler

Dr. Suzanne Beyeler is an Associate Professor of Biology and Environmental Studies at Manchester University, part of the College of Arts and Sciences. She holds a Ph.D. in Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, an M.A. in Environmental Science from Miami University, and a B.A. in Biology from Goshen College. Her research focuses on environmental science, wildlife ecology, and ecosystem management, with expertise in biodiversity monitoring, stormwater/wetland systems, and endangered species habitat protection. She collaborates with government agencies and private businesses on applied ecological projects.

Dr. Beyeler teaches courses such as General Biology I, GIS, and Urban Biology Field Projects. She advises students in Biology and Environmental Science programs. Her professional experience includes roles as Biodiversity Research and Monitoring Program Coordinator at Cornell University and Landscape Ecologist at the University of Florida. Her office is located in Zollner 258, and she maintains flexible office hours for student consultations.
