Suzanne Ahearne

Suzanne Ahearne is a Continuing Studies Instructor at Emily Carr University of Art and Design, with a focus on Digital Storytelling, Photojournalism, and Creative Non-Fiction. She has 17 years of experience as a photojournalist and writer, contributing to regional, national, and international publications, and has produced radio documentaries for the CBC.

Her work extends to community engagement through Multimedia Storytelling and Participatory Photography, collaborating with educational and media organizations to amplify underrepresented voices. She facilitates digital storytelling workshops, with a Vimeo channel showcasing projects from Emily Carr University workshops.
