Assoc Prof Suthiwan Titima is an Associate Professor and Convenor of the Thai Language Programme at the Centre for Language Studies, National University of Singapore. She holds a BA (Hons) in Thai Language and Literature from Chulalongkorn University and a PhD in Linguistics from the University of Hawaii, USA.

Her research focuses on Southeast Asian historical linguistics, poetry analysis, and translation studies. She has extensive experience coordinating language programs, having previously led Thai, Lao, and Khmer language initiatives at institutions such as the University of Hawaii, University of Washington, and Arizona State University before joining NUS in 1998. Under her leadership, the Thai language program at NUS became the world's largest and fastest-growing Thai-as-a-foreign-language program.
