About
Dr. Susanne Rohs is a Senior Scientist and Principal Investigator at Forschungszentrum Jülich GmbH's Institute of Climate and Energy Systems (ICE), leading water vapor research in the Troposphere department (ICE-3). Her work focuses on global atmospheric composition observation using instrumented passenger aircraft, upper troposphere/lower stratosphere water vapor measurements, ice supersaturated regions (ISSRs), cirrus clouds, and aviation-induced cloudiness climatic effects.
She manages the complete data workflow for IAGOS water vapor measurements, including instrument calibration, data evaluation, and Near Real Time (NRT) data provision. Her research emphasizes long-term trend analysis and aviation's climate impact.
