Susanna Ågren is an Associate Professor of Nursing at the Department of Nursing and Reproductive Health, within the Faculty of Medicine at Linköping University. Her research focuses on frail patients in intensive care, person-centered care, and health literacy, particularly in heart surgery and critical illness contexts. She is also a course director for nursing program final years and an examiner at undergraduate and graduate levels.
