Susan Turner Haynes is an Associate Professor in the Department of History, Politics, and Philosophy at Lipscomb University. She holds a PhD, MA, and BA in Political Science from George Mason University and the University of Tennessee. Her research focuses on international relations, nuclear proliferation, and foreign policy analysis. Haynes has authored two books: *Chinese Nuclear Proliferation* (2016) and *Faith in Foreign Aid* (forthcoming 2024), as well as numerous articles in journals like *Asian Security* and *Strategic Studies Quarterly*. She is affiliated with the International Studies Association (ISA) and American Political Science Association (APSA), and serves on the advisory board of the Tennessee World Affairs Council. Her work has been presented at the Department of Defense Strategic Multilayer Assessment Group and the Air War College.
