Susan Tomasovic

Susan Tomasovic is a Term Instructor in the Department of Communication at George Mason University. She serves as the Internship Coordinator for the department and teaches a variety of courses including Business and Professional Communication, Video Performance & Writing, and Performance for Communication Arts. She is deeply involved in student mentorship and career development.

Education:

• B.S. in Communication & Theater Arts (minor in Physiology) – University of Missouri-Columbia

• M.A. in Communication / Political & Media Criticism – George Mason University

Research & Teaching Focus:
Her expertise spans public communication, performance studies, business communication, and the integration of artificial intelligence into curriculum. She is also a career influencer for the Mason Career Influencers Network and a frequent guest speaker for community organizations.

Before academia, she worked for Disney as an on-location production assistant, American Forces Network-Europe, and in film for Universal Studios, Paramount Pictures, and the Kentucky Film Commission.
