Susan Stone is a Professor of English at Loras College. She holds a PhD from the University of South Carolina (2001), an MA from the same institution (1997), and a BA from Emory University (1991). Dr. Stone specializes in 19th-century American literature, gender studies, Native American and African American studies, and writing.
