Susan Piras, Ph.D., MSN, RN, CNE, serves as an Associate Professor at the Whitson-Hester School of Nursing, Tennessee Technological University, where she contributes to academic instruction and clinical training in nursing disciplines.

Her scholarly focus centers on nursing education methodologies, evidence-based clinical practice, patient safety protocols, and healthcare simulation techniques, leveraging her dual expertise as a Certified Nurse Educator and Registered Nurse to bridge theoretical knowledge with real-world clinical applications.
