Susan McHugh

Susan McHugh is Professor of English at the University of New England, where she teaches literary theory, animal studies, and writing. She coordinates the Writing Fellows program, advises the Creative Writing Club, and leads the Writing Minor.

Her research examines intersections of biological and cultural extinction through transdisciplinary frameworks including posthumanism, ecocriticism, and narrative theory.
