Susan Martin

Susan Martin is a Professor at Southwestern Law School, where she has taught since 1975. She began exclusively in the SCALE program and now teaches in traditional programs while advising moot court and negotiation teams. Her research focuses on comparative secured transactions, sales aspects of the Uniform Commercial Code, and substance abuse awareness in legal professions.

Her educational background includes a B.A. in History from DePauw University (1968) and a J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Santa Clara (1973). She is a member of the California and Nevada State Bars.

Martin's research interests span commercial law, secured transactions, and legal education reform. She has published extensively on international sales agreements and Uniform Commercial Code applications.
