Susan Larson serves as Provost and Dean of Concordia College, a position she assumed in 2021 after serving as Dean since 2019. She joined the faculty in 1998 and has held leadership roles including Division Chair for Sciences and Mathematics and Director of Undergraduate Research and Student Scholarship within the Division of Sciences and Mathematics.
Her educational background includes a B.A. from the University of Manitoba and a Ph.D. from McMaster University.
Larson's research spans Psychology and Neuroscience with emphasis on behavioral and cognitive changes linked to immune system activation and motor learning in rats. She is a nationally recognized leader in Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, investigating classroom dynamics like gender participation patterns and undergraduate research integration in courses such as Behavior Modification.
