Susan Hopp is the Dean of the School of Foundation Studies at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), a role she has held since 2023. Previously, she served as Chair (2022–2023) and Associate Chair (2018–2022) of Foundation Studies. Her academic career includes roles as Professor (2016–2018) at SCAD and Adjunct Professor (2015–2016) at Metropolitan State University and Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design.
Her education includes an M.F.A. in Visual Arts from Lesley University, an M.A. in Sculpture from West Virginia University, and a B.F.A. in Painting from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.
